Our two week international collaboration between 14 songwriters from five different countries (Sweden, Denmark, Wales, Canada and US) was filmed by multi Emmy Award Winner Mario Troncoso ans his brilliant team. The first result is an 30 minute episode part of PBS series Arts in Context aired all over North America.

I have just returned from a remarkable few weeks in the USA, where I have been pursuing new musical adventures, eating too much barbeque and making a lot of new friends. I was honoured to be invited to The House of Songs in Austin, Texas to take part in a week of songwriting workshops.

AUSTIN—Nine musicians from the United States and four other countries are staying for a week at the House of Songs in Austin. It's part of the Songwriting Summit where they create new music, often within a few hours of meeting each other. "It can be hard to meet someone for the first time and just, now we shall create, it's hard but very exciting process,” said Mariette, Musician.
Swedish Dennsi Kalla participating in SweFolk at The House of Songs performed a newly written song with Danish artist Ida Wenøe live on Sun Radion in Austin. Canadian Paul Pigat and U.S. artist Raina Rose also peformed one of the newly written songs.
